An opportunity has arisen for a relief Domestic Supervisor covering Community Sites. This role will be to provide cover for Supervisors across Woodend Hopsital, Inverurie, Deeside, Kincardine and City Areas. The role focuses on the day to day management of an established team of domestic assistants. Applicants must be fit for the role with a can do approach and be able work closely with others and provide a high quality standard of work. Ability to fully understand all tasks is crucial. The successful applicant would be expected to have team leader experience and a strong understanding of the supervision of staff. This would include leading teams on remote sites, effective handling of difficult situations, monitoring performance, rota planning, absence management and positively engaging with all grades of staff in order to maximise the department’s effectiveness. Knowledge of PECOS ordering, SSTS would be advantageous but not essential as full training would be given. Full clean driving license essential to role as travel to different sites will be required.
Flexibility is required with the role. Core shifts would be a mix of 0700-1400, 0930 - 1630, and 1400 - 2000, making up an average of 4 days a week Mon - Fri, approx 25 hours a week. Depending on the area being covered or operational requirements, there may be a requirement to work over the weekend, and this would be included within the weekly expectation of 4 days a week, and approx 25 hours. There may be different shifts dependant on area / need, and as much notice as possible would be given in order to accommodate the applicant's circumstances.
