Covid-19 Team Leader - Vaccination Programme (multiple posts)
Band 7 - £39,300 to £46,006 per annum
Full time (37.5 hours) posts
Fixed term or secondment opportunities available until 31 December 2021
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a new Covid-19 Team Leader - Vaccination Programme role and be responsible for the management of staff to achieve the operational delivery of the COVID-19 Vaccination Service across NHS Lanarkshire. You will undertake operational management for this service and work collaboratively with the Service Manager, Programme Lead and the COVID-19 Tactical Group. You will also require to work and in collaboration with other partner agencies, i.e. primary care, local authorities, third sector, independent providers and other external agencies as required.
You will lead and support the provision of operational managerial input as required into COVID-19 Vaccination programme strategic structure and lead and support staff members across a range of professions and disciplines to deliver the COVID-19 Vaccination Service, ensuring performance, service quality, recruitment, appraisal, and staff governance. You will also operationally support the Service Manager in leading the delivery and roll out of the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme.
Where a post only has temporary funding and an existing member of NHS Lanarkshire staff wishes to apply, this will be treated as a secondment. The employee MUST already have had agreement from their line manager to be released on a secondment before applying for the post.
