Assistant Compliance Manager
Applications are invited for a permanent, full time post in the Department of Laboratory Medicine.

Laboratory Medicine provides laboratory services to primary and secondary care centres within and beyond Lothian.  These services are currently delivered from 4 sites; the Western General Hospital (WGH), the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh (RIE), St Johns Hospital, Livingston (SJH) and the Royal Hospital for Sick Children (RHSC) and serve Pathology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Haematology and Microbiology.

The role is to support and deputise, as required, for the Compliance Manager (NHS Lothian laboratories) for Laboratory Medicine in directing and performance managing to deliver an effective and efficient Laboratory Quality Management System and customer service that achieves all quality and performance targets.  Assisting in the delivery of a number of Directorate and pan-Divisional projects and work streams.

Candidates should have experience of working in a scientific laboratory and a detailed knowledge of Laboratory Standard Operating Procedures and Policies.

Candidates will be based at the Nine BioQuarter Building but with a requirement to travel to all laboratory sites

Applicants must possess a life sciences degree
