An exciting opportunity has arisen for an midwife who wishes to rise to the challenge of leading a team providing safe and effective continuity of carer to a defined caseload of women. You must be a band 6 midwife with extensive community and intranatal experience, and have a passionate interest in providing physiological care in labour. The RAH Community Maternity Unit provides community antenatal and postnatal care, plus intranatal care within the alongside midwife led birthing suite. You will be expected to contribute to the on-call service for home births, You will carry 24 hours continuing responsibility for the unit and will provide clinical leadership to the midwifery team to: Ensure safe and effective clinical practice, Enhance the woman’s experience of care and Manage and develop the performance of the team You must be a practicing midwife on the NMC register with current registration.
The shift pattern is; Mon-Fri plus on-call component
