The clinical laboratories within the national waiting times centre board has a vacancy for an advanced biomedical scientist with significant knowledge and experience in Biochemistry.
As a highly motivated and dedicated Advanced Biomedical Scientist you will:
Supervise and coordinate the day to day technical activities of a section... within the laboratory.
Provide a comprehensive Biochemistry service essential for effective diagnosis, treatment and monitoring.
Supervise a team of rotational Biomedical Scientists (BMS) and also to undertake analytical work within a diagnostic area of the laboratory ensuring the work is performed in an efficient, organised and professional manner to provide a high quality, timely service.
Be responsible for the provision of a highly specialist technical service within the laboratory.
Act as the immediate line manager for BMS staff and where required deputise aspects of the laboratory management roles.
