Job Advert

Would you like to live and work in Argyll, an area on the West coast of Scotland of outstanding natural beauty? Would you like to swap the stresses of city living for a more relaxed lifestyle where you can really feel part of the community?

We have a full time vacancy based in Campbeltown Community Hospital.

Campbeltown is the main town on the Kintyre peninsula and is surrounded by beautiful sandy beaches and stunning scenery. There are 4 golf courses including the famous Machrihanish courses and also the Aqualibrium centre.  Local schools cater for nursery to high school age children, with further and higher education opportunities available through Argyll College, academic partner to the University of the Highlands and Islands.

The Band 6 position covers all aspects of plain film radiography and also includes an on call commitment.

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and well motivated individual with excellent clinical skills.  We support CPD and role development and our ideal candidate would be committed to training and development and would welcome the opportunity to work independently whilst being part of a team. The site benefits from a reporting radiographer in post.

Informal enquiries are welcomed by:

Mark Nichols, Lead Radiographer Lorn & Islands, Oban : 01631 789 101

Carolyn Renton, Campbeltown Hospital : 01586 555803 email. carolyn.renton@nhs.scot
