An exciting secondment opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and motivated person to co-ordinate all volunteer activity within NHSAA for the next six months.
The volunteer service is currently being evaluated and developed to ensure we are able to provide volunteer support across a range of services and in a range of innovative ways. We also wish to update and improve our current recruitment and training processes and are seeking the right person to join us at such an interesting and exciting time to lead the necessary changes and developments.
You should demonstrate great interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to function effectively as a team member, or whilst working alone. Liaising with other agencies and organisations is a fundamental part of this role so knowledge of our partner agencies and volunteer organisations would be advantageous. Previous experience of working with patients and public representatives is desirable as engagement is an important aspect of this role.
You will also have line management responsibilities so previous experience of leading or managing a team is desirable.
