We have an exciting opportunity for a band 5 registered nurse to join the team we are building in the South Perthshire and Kinross Locality to deliver Community Care and Treatment services.
We are currently recruiting a registered nurse that will help us to continue to build a skill mixed team to deliver the health care services being devolved from General Practice to Health and Social Care Partnerships in line with the GP contract 2018. Initially the care provision will be focussed on wound care, phlebotomy, anticoagulation monitoring and ear care. In time there will be a requirement to also monitor long term conditions.
These services will be delivered in a clinic setting in either a community hub or GP practice.
On occasion you may be required to work within the patients’ home.
You will be based in South Perthshire with bases covering Kinross, Auchterarder and Crieff, travel across the locality is essential.
We are looking for an enthusiastic nurse who is keen to take on a new challenge and who is willing to be flexible to help us design and deliver this new and exciting model of care for the local population.
The role is diverse and allows nurses to develop experience in many aspects of patient care and multidisciplinary team working.
