The SNBTS Transfusion Team promotes the safe, effective and appropriate use of blood across NHS Scotland. An opportunity has arisen for a part time administration assistant to support the three transfusion practitioners within the North region, which includes NHS Grampian, NHS Highland and NHS Tayside. The role will be based at the Aberdeen Blood Transfusion Centre although travel within the region and occasionally across Scotland may be required.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual educated to Higher level or evidence of an equivalent qualification with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Accuracy and attention to detail is essential to the role, as well as proven experience in Microsoft Office packages such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and ideally experience with accurate minute taking is desirable. In addition, you will be required to work both independently, and as part of a team, with the ability to produce accurate outcomes, work flexibly using your own initiative to prioritise your day to day workload within a busy team without direct supervision.
