An exciting opportunity to support the Scottish Intensive Care Society Audit and the Scottish Trauma Audit Group has arisen within Public Health Scotland by contributing to the achievement of its aims and objectives of improving patient care.
The successful candidate will be required to support the National Clinical Coordinator on maintaining a national audit structure across Scotland ensuring that the results of the audit are disseminated and acted upon at a clinical level by establishing cooperative relationships within multi-disciplinary teams responsible for the delivery of care. They will also be required to aid in the development and implementation of clinical education & training programmes to ensure local coordinators have a secure knowledge base to provide the correct level of support to the improvement programme set by the National Clinical Coordinator and National Audit Steering Groups.
The successful candidate is required to demonstrate a flexible, supportive and motivational management style and able to work with multidisciplinary teams across Scotland whilst working very closely with the National Clinical Coordinator in a fast paced environment of change. It is desirable that applicants are educated to degree level in a life science; hold the appropriate professional registration and have demonstrable experience in clinical audit.
