The CLO operates a team based structure, covering Litigation, Employment, Commercial Contracts and Commercial Property. Each team comprises of experienced solicitors and support staff committed to delivering a responsive and cost effective service to clients across the NHS and wider public sector.
This post is to join one of the CLO Litigation Teams – Team C as a maternity leave cover for a fixed term of one year starting in June 2021. You will be an experienced personal injury solicitor who has at least five years post qualifying experience dealing with medical negligence claims and actions in both the Sheriff Court and the Court of Session. You will join a team that delivers a comprehensive Litigation service to the NHS in Scotland, as well as to the wider public sector. You will have a challenging workload, of clinical negligence and employee accident claims and actions, and will also provide general litigation advice to your client health boards in matters such as mental health law, confidentiality, DPA, FAI(s) and FOI
The CLO is located at Anderson House in Leith, Edinburgh.
