Infrastructure Analyst

AfC Band 5 plus a High Secure Environmental Allowance of £1,336.68 per annum

The State Hospitals Board for Scotland Infrastructure Analyst Band 5 permanent contract. To work in partnership with others to support co-ordinate and advise on the Electronic Patient and Staff Record systems within the State Hospital.


We are currently seeking an additional experienced and enthusiastic       Infrastructure.  Analyst to work within the eHealth IM&T Infrastructure team at The State Hospital. The post holder should have 3-4 years experience of MS Windows Operating Systems and applications. An understanding of Dell and Cisco Networks, Dell storage, Veeam, VMware, mobile device management and remote access solutions. Experience within a Helpdesk environment would be preferred as the post holder will be expected to work in accordance with call handling procedures to ensure calls are effectively resolved. The will also provide first and second line support on hardware and software to all IT users within The State Hospital.  Applicants should have an enthusiastic approach, good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills within a team environment. An HNC or equivalent in a computer related discipline is required. Experience within an NHS environment or similar large and complex organisation is desirable.
