Job Advert

We are looking to recruit a pharmacy technician to jour our expanding Locality Pharmacy team in Dundee.  The locality role involves working in a range of environments including GP practices, care homes and patients own homes with an emphasis on high quality patient facing pharmaceutical care.

Excellent communication, time management and organisation skills are essential in the effective delivery of the job role, as successful applicants will be required to work independently and as part of the larger Dundee Locality team.  Applicants must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).  Experience of primary care is not essential as we are keen to work with you to build our own team who share in our passion and vision.

The NHS Tayside ethos is to allow professionals to develop to be the best they can be, further develop their competencies within robust competency frameworks and actively encourages multidisciplinary and multi professional working.  The successful applicant will also be given the opportunity to engage in the training of Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technicians.

We are a friendly and sociable, forward thinking team that has developed over the years.  We promote team working and collaboration across all roles to recognise the valuable contribution a good skill mix can make to delivering the best quality service and improve patient care.

This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate wishing to undertake a fast paced role within our friendly, supportive and progressive team.
