The Practitioner and Counter Fraud Services unit of NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) is looking for a finance analyst specialist to join its Contractor Finance Team as a result of staff retirement.
The post holder will be responsible for managing the finances of the Clinical Negligence and Risk Indemnity Scheme (CNORIS), providing financial analytical support within the medical team alongside various analytical tasks as required by the National Finance Manager. The post holder will be self-motivated, numerate, and willing to take the initiative to design new solutions to complex problems and working processes, they will be able to deal with sensitive issues in a confidential manner and a team player with the ability to work independently.
They will be educated to degree level with significant experience of Microsoft Office applications specifically excel. They will also be skilled in financial modelling and analysis. Please see the person specification for more details on the required skills.
