University Hospital Monklands (UHM) is looking to appoint two Consultant Gastroenterologists to enhance its existing team.
Successful applicants will participate in delivering both inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology services and will have the enthusiasm to contribute to the development of specialist gastroenterology services at UHM.
It is anticipated that the successful candidate will develop a specialty interest to complement existing services. An interest in liver disease or clinical nutrition would be welcomed, but equally the post would be entirely suitable for an individual with a strong interest in lumenal gastroenterology. Specific clinical interests and an interest in research would be encouraged.
It is an exciting time to join UHM, as there will also be opportunity to be involved in the planning of the clinical models to support the business case for a new hospital.
