You will support the Health Visiting team to provide an accessible, appropriate, culturally sensitive, safe, person centred and effective service for children, young people and families in the community, by working in partnership with service users, care providers and other agencies. The work will be facilitated, supervised and supported by the Health Visiting team. You will be responsible for delivering safe, efficient and person centred care to clients / families, as delegated and directed by the Health Visiting team. You will support the Health Visiting team in the delivery of care to clients / families. You will promote a culture of engagement with clients, families and carers, which includes as core principles and values an approach which is caring, compassionate, courteous, empathetic and respectful. It is essential that you have an SVQ Level 3 in Healthcare or equivalent experience and the ability to work with people and as part of a team. You should have the ability to work without direct supervision and have good communication skills both written and verbal. You should have experience of working with children and the ability to work with vulnerable children, young people and families. You should have basic computing skills. The shift pattern for this post is Monday - Friday.
