The Housing & Homelessness Lead will support the Glasgow City HSCP in engaging with Housing / Registered Social Landlords (RSL) to help prevent homelessness and support housing providers to improve the health and well-being of their tenants. This post will provide support to the multi-agency Essential Connections and Homeless Provider Forums to improve joint working and access to health and social care for vulnerable households with complex needs. The post will act as a single point of access for tenancy sustainment issues and will play a key role achieving good outcomes for those affected by or at risk of homelessness. We are looking to recruit an individual with an excellent knowledge of the housing and homelessness agenda and the potential challenges faced by vulnerable individuals. Strong negotiation and influencing skills are required, along with the ability to work as part of a team and with a proven ability to build successful working relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Initially based at Woodside Health Centre moving to William Street Clinic later in 2021.
Shift pattern for this post is 37.5 hrs/week, 9am-5pm Mon to Fri (Flexible working permissible in line with GGC policy)
