Applications are being sought for the post of Industry Collaboration Project Manager – Diabetes, for NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde (NHS GGC).


NHS GGC is looking to appoint an Industry Collaboration Project Manager, to work with the Scottish Government Innovation team to plan, manage and deliver agreed open collaboration projects. This post is focused on the clinical area of diabetes, taking direction from the National Lead for Diabetes, Dr Brian Kennon. This is an exciting time for treatment and better management of patients with diabetes with the advent of novel technological solutions that need to be tested and evaluated.


We are looking for someone with proven project management skills. Experience of managing projects within the NHS or similar large and complex organisations is desirable.  You will be highly motivated with excellent communication skills. Knowledge of clinical research/ innovation and experience of working with industry partners would be useful. You will be responsible for all aspects of project planning, delivery and financial costing and management.   


The successful candidate will be part of a small National Innovation Team, co-located with the West of Scotland Innovation Team.


You will be based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

 Shift pattern; Normal office hours.
