This post will be based at Parkview Resource Centre/Belmont Resource Centre

You will be an independent expert practitioner managing a variety of conditions which are often complex and challenging and provide a specialist occupational therapy clinical lead within a designated area. This will involve specialist assessment, treatment and evaluation on the efficacy of service user care, both individually and in groups. Standardised clinical tools will be utilised wheryou have identified your appropriateness using specialist knowledge. You will provide specialist professional advice to other disciplines, carers and agencies. You will be required to engage with the wider multi-disciplinary team and to work across agencies to deliver packages of care in the role of occupational therapist and/or keyworker and/or care manager including mental health assessments.     You will contribute to the evaluation and development of the occupational therapy service withiyour designated area with reference to clinical governance, clinical effectiveness and national policies and drivers. This will require you to lead on departmental and team projects.  It is essential that you have a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy and that you are currently registered with the HCPC and you must hold or gain a practice educatin qualification.  The shift pattern for this post is Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm.  There are full time 37.5hrs and part time 22.5hrs available with this vacancy, please put onto your statement of support which post or posts you would like to apply for.
