North Perthshire - Pitlochry Community Hospital

Healthcare Support Worker - Band 4


We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Healthcare Support Worker to join our small team of Occupational Therapists based within Pitlochry Community Hospital.  You will provide a supportive role to the clinical caseload under the supervision of qualified staff and undertake administrative and housekeeping duties.  The post is currently based in Pitlochry, although this may change depending on service requirements.  There is a requirement to travel throughout the North Locality as part of the day to day duties.

Previous experience within a care setting is essential.  You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with being a team player who can also organise their own workload.  Excellent IT skills are also essential. 

Perth and Kinross Occupational Therapy Service is committed to continued Personal Development through our clinical networks and a structured system of competencies and review is in place for support staff.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
