An exciting opportunity has arisen for a of highly motivated enthusiastic, kind, caring and hard-working support assistant to work within NHS Borders Testing Team at Borders General Hospital. This is a temporary post for up to 12 months in response to Covid-19 leading to an increase in Testing within the NHS, Social Care and community settings.

You will assist in delivering high quality person centred care alongside our skilled and dedicated Testing Team. Experience in working in a health care setting would be an advantage. You must be able to adapt to an unpredictable, rapidly evolving work place.

You will assist the Testing Team in all aspects of the process and demonstrate a caring and compassionate approach to your work.

Suitable candidates should be able to work in a fast paced; demanding environment and experience in a care setting would be advantageous.

The service covers a 7 day week with weekend working and a changeable working pattern dependent on service need which the successful candidate would be expected to work.
