The post holder will have to establish strong working relationships with senior and frontline staff throughout the Service to ensure that all appropriate staff are fully engaged in the development and implementation of new solutions and ways of working. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are therefore essential. The post holder will play a key part in ensuring the preparedness of end users and that the change is implemented with minimum disruption.
The postholder should have previous experience of involvement in large scale organisational change and a good working knowledge of current ICT systems.
Prior to submission, applications should be discussed with line managers to ensure a request for a secondment is supported.
The base for this post is open to negotiation and this will be reviewed as the Service emerges from COVID restrictions and depending on the outcome of the move to a new Programme Management Office. In any case, this role requires travel throughout Scotland to meet the needs of the Service. As a result, there will be occasions where the post-holder will have to be flexible in terms of their start time and finish time during their 37.5hr working week.
