An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who wishes to join our community podiatry service, working primarily within East Caithness GP medical centres, providing the highest quality evidence based podiatric care in a variety of settings as an autonomous practitioner. You will be competent in a wide range of complex podiatric specialties, including diabetes, MSK conditions, rheumatology, biomechanics and wound management, working as  part of an interdisciplinary team and act as a source of podiatry advice for individuals, carers, GPs and other health and social care professionals.  

This post involves working as a lone practitioner on a daily basis, although advanced practitioners are only a phone call away. The podiatry team is a small team which meets regularly and is part of the much wider NHS Highland Podiatry department.  The podiatry service in the area is managed by an integrated team lead with the Podiatry Professional lead input as well. 

 A driving licence is essential and a pool car may be available, however applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes, as required.
