Fixed Term/Secondment – 18 months
Organisational Development, Leadership and Learning (ODLL) is a department within NHS Education for Scotland (NES) that offers a broad range of innovative learning, education and OD activities.
As a Specialist Lead, you would work collaboratively with peers and colleagues to get the best outcome for learners and partners across our health and social care system. You would join us at a time where we are adapting our traditional development & delivery approaches as we respond and adapt to the busiest and most challenging time we have known for the NHS.
If you were in this role today, here’s some of the things you may be doing:
- Diagnosing, designing and facilitating interventions to support behaviour change and the development of teams, groups and individuals dealing with change
- Designing, developing and delivering leadership development programmes
- Designing surveys, analysing data, and producing reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring the quality and impact of all programmes, projects and services by contributing to the implementation of frameworks and processes
- Participating in our commissioning process for ad hoc development requests

Some of the knowledge, skills and experience you might have:
- Qualified to SCQF level 9/10; a relevant postgraduate qualification (SCQF level 11) or proven work experience in organisational development and/or leadership; a relevant professional qualification e.g. CIPD with Affiliate membership
- Understanding and expert application of contemporary theories of Organisational Culture, Change, Development and Leadership Development
- Research, design, development and delivery and/or commissioning of leadership and organisational development solutions
