The purpose of Healthcare Improvement Scotland is to enable the people of Scotland to experience the best quality of health and social care. We provide a range of services which require digital solutions to enable us to effectively deliver improvements to the health and social care that people in Scotland receive.
We are looking for a Web Developer, with good communication skills, educated to degree level in an IT/web development role, with strong SQL, SharePoint and technical web development experience. The Web Developer would be required to interpret user requirements and identify possible actions to meet the requirements. They would then design, develop, implement and maintain web-based solutions and information systems that fulfil our statutory requirements, as well as achieving our organization’s goals.
It is our intention to replace our current website with a more modern, dynamic site which will be mobile compatible and accessible to all users. Having a successful track record of delivering websites from proof of concept to an established website with well-planned information architecture is highly desirable. You will also provide web-based technical advice and solutions to business users and IT colleagues across the organization.
The organization is now using Microsoft Office 0365 as the catalyst for digital change and starting to replace our legacy digital estate with a cloud-based service model. Part of our digital vision is to drive the use of technology across our organization and modernize and consolidate our web estate. You will be a key player in this project.
