The posts would also be highly suited to any candidate who has completed ACCS training and wishes to develop sub-specialty experience and improve their curriculum vitae prior to specialty training application. Funding towards a medical education qualification (for example, a post graduate certificate in medical education) will be made available. Alternatively successful candidates may opt to undertake their own portfolio of development aligned to their personal needs and career aspirations. Where an appointee decides not to enrol in the certificate course in medical education, up to £1,250 will be made available to support funding of personal development activities, which must be agreed with the Clinical Supervisor/Assistant Director of Medical Education.
