Ward 1c is a busy day care unit with on average 30-40 patients seen daily. The age group of patients range from 2 months to 18 years. A large proportion of the children and young people we treat have either chronic conditions or life limiting conditions. This requires them to attend regularly for a variety of treatments. We also have other children and young people who attend for a variety of different tests. The unit opens Monday to Friday 0830 to 1700. It has a 10 bedded area, for longer treatments or patients requiring sedation and a seated treatment area/waiting room if this is appropriate and preferable to the child. The unit also contains a waiting/play area for Ward Attendees and Day Cases. There are also three treatment and 4 consulting rooms where reviews or procedures/treatments are carried out. We are looking for a housekeeper to join our team. General duties will include ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained, ordering of daily/weekly stock and maintaining adequate stock levels within all areas of the ward, general tidiness of the ward, assisting at meal times and to assist in the completion of audits Previous housekeeper experience is desirable.
