Head of Digital Strategic Delivery, Band 8c

NHS Tayside has an exciting opening for a new position of Head of Digital Strategic Delivery.  This post requires an experienced person who has excellent leadership skills, high service delivery knowledge, cyber and security policies and who possesses the ability to lead a highly effective team through the transition to Digital Technologies.

Reporting directly to the Director of Digital Technology, you will support the successful delivery of key initiatives which may include programmes of work extending outside NHS Tayside through the involvement of external agencies such as Scottish Government, National Services Scotland and/or consortiums of other NHS Boards.

The successful candidate will oversee all strategic delivery services including OOH services.  Working in conjunction with the Digital ‘Head of Operations’ the post-holders will have full responsibility for all aspects of Digital Service Delivery.

The post requires a qualified IT Professional, educated to degree level, with appropriate demonstrable skills and knowledge, but appropriately qualified individuals must also have extensive post qualification experience of complex service delivery in order to support the above areas of work.

   Good Leadership and a thorough understanding of strategic service delivery in a challenging clinical environment would be seen as highly beneficial.
