With a total budget of £3.2 billion and a workforce of around 39,000 staff it serves an immediate population of 1.15 million plus provides specialist regional services to more than half of Scotland’s population. The geographical area covered is diverse; encompassing 6 local authority areas within the West of Scotland.

Providing our newly qualified Nurses and Midwives scope for professional development is a key priority and as a newly qualified Nurse or Midwife, we offer a structured and comprehensive induction programme, preceptorship, and we will support you to undertake and complete Flying Start NHS, the national development programme for all newly qualified nurses and midwives.

We are currently recruiting NQNM due to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council in 2021. Please note that this is the sole route for employment with NHSGGC for all NQNM.
Registered Nurse and Midwifery - Band 5, permanent, full-time and part-time opportunities for ALL newly qualified nurses and midwives,
We are seeking newly registered nursing and midwifery staff who recognise the importance of person-centred care and the impact on patient experiences of having a skilled, caring and compassionate workforce.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience and develop skills within a diverse range of specialities across NHSGGC.
Applications must be received by midnight on Monday 19th April 2021.
Referees must be an academic supervisor and a previous mentor/sign-off mentor/practice assessor.
Interviews will take place on Friday 23rd April 2021 via Microsoft Teams.
