NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) continues to recruit new Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) posts in line with the Scottish Government commitment to ‘roll out FNP in Scotland’.
One is an existing post, based in the North East of Glasgow for clients living across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, the other is for the new Team G in the South of Glasgow, base still to be confirmed. Part time hours would be considered.
The Family Nurse Partnership post requirements are:
It is essential that you are currently a registered nurse or midwife with current NMC registration.
Professional knowledge acquired at degree level underpinning further specialist education and training such as Public Health Nursing/Health Visiting, Mental Health or Paediatric Nursing. Please see the job description for further details on the requirements for the post.

The interview process is in two parts and both the panel and client interviews for Family Nurse Posts will be held the week commencing 29/03/2021.
We anticipate a blended model of residential and e-learning for the next FNP learning cohort. However, we have not been able to ascertain the dates for this learning schedule at this time and will be able to share this with shortlisted candidates at interview. Please be aware that all the training dates, once available, need to be attended. The shift pattern for this post is Monday – Friday.
