An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a motivated and accomplished Physician Associate (PA) within Urgent Care Service, Fife. This is fixed term post to test this role within the service, and is designed to support the delivery of urgent care. This new role will be a great opportunity to develop an innovative varied professional portfolio and to become involved with the evaluation of the role’s impact as well as audit, research, and quality improvement across the service.
The Physician Associate (PA) will be a core member of the Urgent Care Service Fife (UCSF) clinical team to support safe, person centred care delivery. They will support and maintain clinical quality standards, develop and initiate new systems of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team (MDT), including both professional and administrative colleagues to provide a range of urgent care. Working under the indirect supervision of the UCSF Clinical Lead and Lead Nurse as part of the MDT, the PA will undertake telephone and virtual near me triage, patient facing assessments and provide immediate care and treatment as per clinical pathways/protocols, creating treatment plans as required.
You will be a qualified Physician Associate. You will receive access to clinical supervision, access to professional development opportunities and will have the opportunity to be involved with service improvement and audit as part of the role.
