HEAD OF RISK AND RESILIENCE
AFC Band 8B plus a High Secure Environmental Allowance of £1,336.68 per annum
37.5 Hours PER WEEK
Contract Duration – Permanent
This senior post is the lead specialist/expert for Risk Management and Resilience Planning in TSH working in close partnership with NHS Lanarkshire colleagues, multi-agency partners and Scottish Government colleagues (i.e. NHS Scotland Resilience, ScoRDS etc.). The post holder will be directly responsible to the Director of Security, Estates and Resilience.
This role exists to advise, lead and deliver on the agreed risk management strategic priorities of The State Hospital and NHS Scotland and provide expertise, to build and maintain resilience and business continuity. The post holder will be accountable for ensuring The State Hospital has an adequate whole system and effective risk and resilience management framework, and processes which underpin its strategic objectives and oversee the development and implementation of resilience planning infrastructure in partnership with staff, management and partner agencies.
Management experience
Significant experience of Risk management and Resilience planning
Evidence of operational and management experience within a secure setting
Evidence of specialist knowledge and proven ability to work with people with mental health/forensic problems.
Demonstrate a progressive continuous personal development pathway
