Job Title: Kickstart – Housekeepers
Grade: Band 2
Location: Various locations across Edinburgh
Contract Duration: Fixed Term – 6-month positions
Hours: Part Time – 25hrs

We are delighted to announce we are recruiting to several exciting Housekeeper opportunities offered through the Kickstart Programme. The positions on offer are across clinical areas within hospitals based in Edinburgh. Hospitals include:
Western General Hospital
Findlay House Hospital
Astley Ainslie Hospital
We are recruiting to these posts based on your potential to contribute to our high-quality patient care and the demonstration of personal values aligned to those of our organisation: NHS Lothian Values.
To be considered for the Kickstart programme, your DWP Work Coach must refer. You must have also achieved National 4 or above in English and Mathematics or core skills at level 4 achieved within another qualification. In addition to this, we are also interested in your values, attitude and ability to learn to become a valued member of our team. The answers to our Assessment Questions are, therefore, essential. They should reflect on how you feel you match our desire for enthusiastic and dynamic people who demonstrate a can-do attitude. Please note that CVs are not considered.

The recruitment process will consist of the following stages, all of which are mandatory. The recruitment process will be facilitated on-line and via MSTeams:

15th April 2021 | Virtual Interview via MSTeams |
Candidates who are successful in the interview will be expected to start in NHS Lothian on Monday 3rd May 2021; we cannot alter this date.
