You will have delegated responsibility for the operational management of all staff within the team from a range of health and social work professions, including recruitment, appraisal, continuing professional development and performance. You will provide support to the RES manager in relation to financial governance. You will require to work closely with colleagues in primary care, secondary care and local authority to ensure service delivery is targeted towards people with rehabilitation and enablement needs. As such you will support the Locality Manager in assisting the partnership to deliver a shift in the balance of care from acute and institutional care to community services and care at home.  You will work with the Locality Manager to ensure access to the full range rehabilitation and enablement services by people who meet the criteria. You will contribute to the monitoring and review of the service to ensure that the care system operates to a consistently high standard and meets its objectives. This will include Standardised Shareable Assessment and Care Management, Self-Directed Support, common data standards and information sharing. You will also promote a person centred ethos and work to continually improve the patient experiences of services. Working on a whole system basis, you will ensure that the NHS GG&C corporate themes, transformational themes and Renfrewshire Councils strategic objectives are embedded within all aspects of rehabilitation and enablement.  You should be educated to degree level preferably in a health or social sciences related subject, have a Post graduate qualification or specialist knowledge gained through experience across a range of areas of work that can be demonstrated and have a proven track record in managing people within an integrated environment.  The shift pattern for this post is Monday – Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm.
