An exciting opportunity has arisen for a development post for a Band 5/6 Podiatrist to join the existing Podiatry team within Lochaber.
Candidates who have relevant experience are very welcome to apply for appointment at Band 5 with the opportunity to progress to Band 6 following an agreed review period .
The post will be based in Fort William which is around 65 miles from the Highland Capital of Inverness but will include visits to clinics across the area which stretches from Glencoe to Fort Augustus and includes the Ardnamurchan peninsular.
As an autonomous clinician, deliver single handedly, or as part of the wider departmental team, the highest possible podiatric care, both palliative and corrective, to patients in a variety of locations in order to maintain mobility and foot health.
You will have a BSc qualification in Podiatric Medicine and be qualified in L.A and nail surgery, along with registration with the HPC.
You will be able to demonstrate a sound professional and clinical knowledge, with understanding of clinical governance, and its application. Of greatest importance is an ability to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to prioritise, plan and organise your workload, are also essential requirements along with a full, current driving license.
