As a vital part of NHS Scotland, NHS National Services Scotland’s mission is to enable and support the delivery of better health and better care, working in partnership. We do this by providing a range of specialised support services that enable NHS Boards to focus their efforts on delivering health improvement and patient care.
NSS Digital & Security supports the NHS Scotland national eHealth agenda through the effective delivery of IM&T products and specialist services that will enable clinical process and efficiency improvements across Scotland. The core remit is focused on the management and delivery of IM&T services focused on national & local infrastructure, business and clinical capabilities.

The customer support team forms part of the Cloud Engineering & Operations function which supports NSS & external stakeholders through a modern infrastructure.  The customer support Team (CST) provides Second and Third line support from Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00. There is also a requirement to participate in a rota for out of hours’ support.  This post will be predominately office based.  

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self motivated Technician to provide second-line support.  With experience of Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft O365, diagnosis of hardware and software issues. Experience of the use of PC build tools like SCCM and InTune would be an advantage, however training will be provided. Good communications skills are important  

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a PVG Scheme Disclosure/Disclosure Scotland check. Any candidate who has worked overseas for more than 3 months will also be required to provide a criminal record check from the appropriate overseas agency
