We are delighted to offer a full time Clinical Nurse Specialist Band 6 post at Glasgow Royal Infirmary in Acute Pain Services. Applications are invited from nurse’s substantial post qualification experience preferably within a surgical setting. Experience of working in a pain service would be an advantageous although not essential. The post will include clinical management of patients, education of clinical staff and audit of the service. We are looking to attract a nurse prepared to work autonomously who can demonstrate flexibility within their role. Excellent clinical skills, proven interest in pain management and the ability to demonstrate leadership qualities to fulfil a band 6 clinical nurse specialist role is essential. You will require being educated to degree level. It is essential that you are currently a Registered Nurse with the NMC. The shift pattern for this post is to be confirmed.
