NHS Ayrshire and Arran is looking to recruit a Health Improvement Officer with a specific remit for alcohol and drugs.
You will be based within the Public Health Department and will work with a range of partners both locally across the three Ayrshire Alcohol and Drug Partnerships and nationally through key working groups and partnerships.
The remit of the post will be to influence, develop and implement public health action in relation preventing alcohol and drug related harms across Ayrshire through, for example: alcohol licensing; community engagement; healthcare and support pathways; research and evaluation; and preventing alcohol and drug related deaths.
Hours: 37.50 per week
Full driving licence is essential
This post is a fixed term position to cover a secondment until 31 March 2022.
