Job Advert
You will assist the trained nurse in the delivery of a range of patient care procedures and to provide basic nursing care to the patient. You will assist with the nursing care of the patient under the supervision of a trained nurse which will include all basic care including the reception, admission, transfer and discharge of the patient according to procedure. You will ensure patients receive the care and assistance required/prescribed with fluid and nutritional intake and observe and report any changes in the condition of the patient and communicate this verbally to the nurse in charge. You will assist the patient unable to self-care with personal hygiene and dressing, adhering to all manual handling procedures and policies. No formal qualifications or experience is required for this post but you should have a good standard of education. The shift pattern for this post is Monday – Friday.
