This is an exciting opportunity to join the new National Centre for Sustainable Delivery (CfSD) which designs and drives transformation programmes to support NHS Boards to Remobilise, Recover and Redesign through sustainable transformation of health and social care harnessing innovation and digital salutation.
The role of Associate Clinical Director is a pivotal role to support the National Clinical Director and provide professional expertise on the development, design and delivery of the CfSD work, ensuring that the range of programmes are underpinned by high quality, credible and internationally respected clinical advice. This would inform practise consistency with high professional standards and with our approach to Realistic Medicine.
You will lead the development of positive relationships between the CfSD and Health and Social Care across NHS Scotland and will be responsible for fostering collaboration nationally and internationally. You will act as a change agent and be expected to display the highest professional standards with experience of working with executive and senior managers across NHS Scotland.
Applications are invited from practising clinicians who possess the credibility within NHS Scotland to support the national leadership role. You will have a track record of expertise in improvement methodology theory and practice as well as leading and achieving significant change in clinical pathways and practice in health and/or social care.
This role will report to the National Clinical Director for the CfSD and will be expected to work closely with the senior management team within the centre as well as the Chief Executive of NHS Golden Jubilee as accountable officer for the centre.
