Post – Professional Advisor, ATEC24
Location - Assistive Technology Enabled Care 24 (ATEC24)
Grade - Band 6
Contract – Permanent
Salary - £31,800-£39,169
Hours of work – 37.5 hours (Monday-Friday)
We have an exciting and rare opportunity for a motivated, dynamic and experienced Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to join ATEC24.
The Professional Advisor provides a specialist advisory, educational and supportive role to Nursing and Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) in the safe and effective use of equipment in the community. ATEC24 is a partnership organisation, providing support to people who require assistance with activities of daily living (ADL), across the city of Edinburgh, East and Midlothian. The post holder will join the ATEC24 management team in ensuring the provision of a high quality, cost-effective community equipment service.
It is essential you have a qualification in either Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy and are currently registered with the relevant professional body. We are looking for an individual with extensive post qualification experience and a sound understanding of the complexities of community care. You should have excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm for promoting seamless service provision in a challenging and evolving health and social care partnership.
