A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Workforce Planner to join the GRS Administration Team on a fixed term/secondment basis for 12 months. This is a National role with flexibility around location and in the immediate future will be home working based.
As a Workforce Planner, you will be responsible for delivering high quality resource planning and system management using the National GRS computer system, as well as other duties related to the role of a workforce planner.
You must therefore have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, excellent planning and organisational skills, be a team player and be able to deal with a range of competing priorities.
This is an exciting role with scope for development and you would be joining a small highly motivated team of staff.
The successful applicant will be responsible for a comprehensive level of administration support to ensure the most effective utilisation of resources through careful planning and organisation.
Duties include shift rostering, recording and allocation of annual leave, recording sickness absence, dealing with general staff enquiries and liaising with the local management teams.
It would be advantageous if candidates have previously worked within a Resource Planning Department and have experience of GRS however, the relevant training and support will be provided.
Candidates must have the ability to work on their own initiative and use relevant information in a systematic way to solve problems whilst demonstrating a high level of attention to detail.
Candidates should have experience of using IT systems including email, spreadsheets and databases.
