This post is fixed term for 12 months.
The Emergency Complex at Glasgow Royal Infirmary comprises the Emergency Department and Acute Assessment Unit, managing approximately 350 patients per day. The complex cares for a varied range of patients from the North East of Glasgow. We require an experienced Band 3 Clinical Support Worker to join our team; Initially on a Fixed Term contract.
You will work within the nursing and multi-professional team to ensure a high standard of care to a defined patient group, competently performing the necessary technical, invasive and physical aspects of care. It is preferable that you are competent in extended roles (ECG recording, Venepuncture, Cannulation, as a minimum.) Applicants should have previous experience of working in an Emergency Department or Acute Assessment Unit or equivalent Acute experience.
The shift pattern is 11.5 hours rotational over 24 hours and 7 days.
