This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career and gain experience within the pharmacy clinical trials service at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre (BWOSCC). The service supports a large variety of commercial and non commercial clinical trials and has strong working relationships with the Research and Development department.
Based in primarily at BWOSCC, you will provide pharmacist expertise and support as part of a cancer clinical trials team on the conduct of studies across a range of solid tumour types and to haemato-oncology services both on site and across Greater Glasgow & Clyde. The service is evolving to meet growing demands for pharmacy input to clinical trials, opening up career pathways which will offer progression and opportunities to become involved in medicines and pharmacy related research.
It is essential you have a Masters Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent with Pre- registration year completed and examination passed. You should also be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council
Previous clinical trials experience is desirable but not essential as training and support will be provided. A keen interest in research is desirable.
