An exciting and challenging position for a part time (21 hours) clinical trials administrator has arisen within the ANCHOR cancer research team based at ARI. The post will support the administrative activities for the team of research nurses and data managers based in Oncology/Haematology. The post will allow you to develop the administrative skills to contribute to the efficient implementation of the cancer clinical trials.
The post holder will be responsible for keeping trial paperwork up to date and filed appropriately, and for implementing standard procedures across a range of different trial projects. You will act as a central point of contact and will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be expected to use your own initiative from forward planning to effectively managing workload in a role that requires the ability to multi-task. The post holder will have a pleasant and professional manner and a flexible approach to working, with the ability to work in a busy and challenging environment, prioritising and organising workload within tight time-scales and deadlines.
The post will provide an opportunity for an experienced administrator or someone with a research background. We are looking for someone who is keen to learn, has a flexible approach and who will work to the high standard required in research.
The hours of working will be flexible between Monday to Friday. The post is offered initially until 31/03/2022.
