Grade: Band 4 + RRP Salary Scale: £22700 - £24973
Plus recruitment and retention premium (RRP) of approx £3600 per annum
A vacancy has arisen within the Estates Department of NHS Highland at Raigmore Hospital for a Maintenance Craftsperson Shift Person. The successful applicant will be required to carry out maintenance and repair of building services, plant and equipment, electrical services, heating services, boiler plant, pumps and machinery, mechanical services, HVAC plant, steam boilers, bio-mass boilers, piped medical gas systems and pressure systems.
Applicants must have served a recognised apprenticeship within either a Mechanical or Electrical discipline and have appropriate experience working on building and engineering services, preferably within a healthcare environment. Knowledge of the Raigmore site is a distinct advantage.
The post is eligible for a Recruitment & Retention Premia (RRP) of approx £3600, on call allowance and enhanced rates for call outs in addition to the basic salary.
A flexible approach to work is essential as variations to the standard working week may be necessary, to provide shift cover and the level of service required.
A current driving licence is essential
