An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to join our HR Team.

Working within a dynamic patient-centred service, this is a stimulating role bringing new challenges and opportunities.  In order to succeed, you will need to have a proactive and flexible approach, skilled in managing employee relations casework and have experience of working in complex, unionised environments as well as having a good working knowledge of current employment legislation. You should demonstrate an innovative approach to people development and commitment to promoting a culture of high performance to maximise the talent and skills of the Service’s Workforce. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with staff, staff partners and managers at all levels handling multi-channel communication.

Reporting to the HR Manager (North), you will work closely with other HR professionals as well as autonomously covering Highlands and Islands of the North Region.

You will be educated to degree-level or equivalent with relevant postgraduate qualification or have an equivalent level of knowledge and hold Chartered membership of the CIPD.  Knowledge of NHS Scotland terms and conditions would be desirable.

As this is a Regional role, regular travel throughout the North Region will be a requirement.
