The Neuroprogressive and Dementia Network (NDN) is an established organisation whose primary aim is to facilitate the conduct of randomised trials and other well designed studies in dementia and other neuroprogressive diseases such as Huntington’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Motor Neuron Disease, and Multiple Sclerosis in Scotland, including those of prevention, diagnosis or treatment. The network is funded by the Chief Scientists Office of the Scottish Government, but all staff are NHS employees.


This is a post established within the clinical research network and this post will support a Chief Scientist Office commissioned piece of work to be carried out in care homes in Scotland as well as general administration duties required by the busy clinical research team. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the managers who have an overview of research staff within Tayside as well as all the care home studies on the portfolio in Scotland.


Your role will be key in providing the administration support for the development of a one year project looking at the delivery of studies in care homes and collection and storage of data to support the project. And to provide the support needed by the research team based in Ninewells hospital.


You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

Hours of work are:  37.5hrs but job sharing possible
