An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Physiotherapist to join the Respiratory Medical Team at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. This post is responsible for the management and day to day running of the acute Respiratory inpatient wards, Medical High Dependency, Covid High Dependency and has a unique and new rotation into the Respiratory outpatient service. The Respiratory AHP team work closely alongside the Respiratory MDT, to facilitate patient flow throughout hospital admission and discharge back into the community.  You  will be expected to deliver quality, evidence based Physiotherapy assessments and treatments as well as being an effective team player with excellent communication skills. This position will involve the delivery and development of the respiratory on call service, inducting new staff going onto the rota, as well as being involved in student education, therefore experience of teaching and educating skills are essential. The Respiratory AHP Team is an innovative team and involved heavily in the forming and development of new services to enhance care for our complex patient group, as such, experience of audit and service evaluation are highly desired.Post  graduate experience is required for this post and  have current HCPC registration. The hours of this post will be worked  5 days over 7.
