The Neuroprogressive and Dementia Network (NDN) (formerly known as the SDCRN) is an established organisation whose primary aim is to facilitate the conduct of randomised trials and other well designed studies in dementia and other neuroprogressive diseases such as Huntington’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Motor Neuron Disease, and Multiple Sclerosis in Scotland, including those of prevention, diagnosis or treatment. Dr Emma Law is the network manager and Professor Peter Connelly is the network champion. Our new network Champion, Dr Tom Russ takes up his post on the 6th of April 2021.
This is an established post within the network but has been vacant for over a year. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the manager who will have an overview of research staff and other projects in Scotland.
Your role will be key in providing the administration support to an entire network of around 36 staff in Scotland. You will be assisting the manager to produce reports to go to the Chief Scientist Officer.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
